NOTIFICATION: Unintended Data Exposure

NOTICE: Unintended Data Exposure

It was brought to our attention earlier today that at some point on October 14, 2018, a number of emails and their associated usernames were accidentally posted to an accessible but unlinked public url.

This exposure was limited to user accounts who were active on October 14, 2018 at the Salt Lake Tribune. It’s possible that as many as 808 email addresses were exposed.

To our knowledge this page went undetected by anyone else until today when we were notified that it had been found.

Fortunately, this person contacted us through the Salt Lake Tribune and we immediately removed the page and audited for similar problems. At this time we believe the exposure was limited and the proper corrections have been made.

We will update this page if any new information becomes available.
