MEET OUR TEAM:

Bryan Hall, CEO

Bryan Hall has extensive experience in UX / UI design, interactive media, marketing, and fundraising. Bryan designed the product, assembled the team, raised the money, created the marketing materials and videos, forged the partnerships, and has lead the company through successful launches on major publications. Prior to his work with The World Table, Bryan was a developer for Quicken (Intuit), CEO of Brandfire, a marketing and branding agency, and founder of Living Biography, a film company specializing in political documentaries. Bryan or his work have been featured on CNN, BBC, US News and World Reports, NPR, New York Sun, and C-SPAN’s Meet the Nation, among others. He is the consummate visionary, able to articulate the big picture in simple terms and bring people together around it. Bryan lives in Orem, Utah with his wife and three children. When he’s not working he loves writing and recording music.

Jack Donaldson, COO

Jack is fluent in both the creative and administrative aspects of product development and management and has directed operations at The World Table since its inception. Before joining the World Table team, Jack founded Peak Media & Consulting, managing media projects for clients in Europe, Canada and throughout the US. He has co-directed and produced two award-winning feature-length documentary films featured on CNN, Fox, New York Post, BBC, and CSPAN. He has served on the board for the non-profit Trekking for Kids since 2006. Jack studied botany and socio-cultural anthropology (BS & MS – BYU) and evolutionary ecology (PhD – UW – Madison). He lives in at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains with his wife and three kids. Jack spends his free time with family (soccer!) and chasing adventures as a skier, biker, runner, flyfisher and naturalist.

Mike Scalora, Chief Architect

Mike is the least likely person in the world to write up his own bio. As such, I am forced to do it for him. I have no idea what to write as all of Mike's communication sounds like Klingon to me. I only know this: When Mike is asked to guesstimate how long such and such a project will take, he's the only engineer I've ever met in 20 years in the business who beats his own estimations every time. He also has the worst jokes in the world. Particularly his puns - about everything - all day long. Mike and his wife live in Orem where he and his wife Anissa just adopted three small children after raising their first pack.

Lauren Lethbridge, Online Community Manager

Lauren is currently a student in the journalism program at Brigham Young University. She wrote more than 20 articles on the Universe’s metro desk and is currently an editor for a global women’s studies journal. Lauren also handles community engagement and moderation at World Table. Her article on Transparency in the Newspaper Industry was the first to published from the WTSJ Lab.

Sahalie Donaldson, Online Community Engagement

Sahalie Donaldson is a junior studying journalism and political science at BYU. She is the Daily Universe’s current Metro Editor where she writes and mentors new reporters in BYU’s communications program. She worked as an assistant to the editor in chief for London news site The Mandy Network, and also received funding to intern in Thailand at a children’s home where she helped start a micro enterprise bakery and taught youth about mental health.

Sahalie currently freelances for the Daily Herald, and a political writing internship with The Salt Lake Tribune. After graduating, she plans to complete a master’s degree in political reporting and go on to do investigative journalism.
